CHEM 110 will begin by exploring the structure of an atom, and at the end of the course you will be able to explain the underlying reasons for the observed behaviors of matter. We’ll cover topics such as atomic and molecular structure, physical properties, and chemical reactions and stoichiometry. All the while, we will highlight how energy plays a role in chemical and physical processes. Throughout the course, you will improve your problem-solving skills by working through examples and applying concepts to real-world scenarios.
