Overall HAXcms gave me a very positive experience. This was one of the most beginner friendly content management systems. I haven't experienced anything better (other than docsify, but they are used differently). I was able to jump right in with no tutorials or previous knowledge. Like anything I didn't previously research, I did encounter small hiccups, but nothing show stopping.
Additionally, there are a lot of different web components to play with. If I wanted I could create memes or include Wikipedia articles very simply.
With all that being said, it was not perfect. As you can see the title on the Wikipedia article is lowercase. When I tried to capitalize the first letters, the search did not return an article. This may not be HAX fault, it could be related to the wiki search being finicky, but its disappointing.
Another area for improvement would be the left side menu. When is expands it does not minimize the window, but instead shows upon top of the content. This can make it difficult to keep the window open and edit the content at the same time.
Lastly, the backspace does not work well. For some reason certain actions are not considered undo-able and using a ctrl-z will not undo them. This caused many problems when I made a mistake and when trying to fix it, the mistake became worse.
