We'll dig deeper into Drupal by using the UI of Drupal to create a data model on the front end. By leveraging our concepts of data types, primary keys, entities, fields, and views, we'll build abstractions on top of the database modeling approaches we discussed earlier in the semester.
Drupal will create hundreds of database tables and securely relate these entities entirely via UI which is why many Drupal developers manage and build complex databases while never actually touching a database. Still, the skills we've gained in data modeling are critical to ensure that a successful Drupal site is structured and delivered for clients.
Master this and you will have a marketable skill coming out of college or into internships. Drupal is a monster but tame it and you'll be able to commend serious $.
