Now you've made it to the big show. You've gotten enough experience with web components and JavaScript concepts to start contributing to a real open source project. Oddly enough, the one you are reading on right now as this website is powered by HAXcms, which has its own ecosystem of elements within the lrnwebcomponents ecosystem.
- Projects will be discussed and scope agreed upon by me and your team.
- Projects will be highly contextual as to what a finished state is
- Class time is for collaboration, demonstration, check ins of progression and talking through problems
- Outside of class time is expected to be working toward solving the issue / making the PR for contribution
- Note: Not all contributions will be immediately accepted based on being considered sufficiently high enough quality to make its way into the larger repository. This project is used by dozens of PSU courses and some of it's sub-repos are download 100s and 1000s of times a week. Not accepting a contribution immediate does not have barring on the grade for this portion so long as effort was put forth and progress toward meeting the goal has been realized. Some projects will be most smaller in scope then others and if objectives are realized quickly, additional projects will be added.
- This is about a system of participation and starting your career. Grades won't matter shortly beyond this course, but your commit trail will. Good luck!
